Hanover Cares was the proud recipient of the
2017 FBI Director's Community Leadership Award!
The FBI Richmond Division nominated Hanover Cares for the prestigious Director's Community Leadership Award. Hanover Cares was recognized for their outstanding contributions to the local community.
Programs that brought them attention included the Hidden In Plain Sight program developed by their youth companion group, Teens Care Too, the Just Say Something, I'm Listening media campaign as well as the yearly Sticker Shock program planned in collaboration with Hanover County Public Schools, Hanover Sheriff's Office and Ashland Police Department. Hanover Cares along with all their partners are truly making great strides in Hanover County to reduce substance use and abuse among youth. |
